Portfolio

This portfolio project marks an important step in the construction of my professional identity. It is an online showcase designed to quickly capture the attention of recruiters and potential clients. The strategy adopted places the user at the heart of the design, with simple navigation, clear content and precise explanations about each project. I made sure that the site reflects both my creativity and technical skills, showing concrete examples and telling about the challenges encountered and overcome. The portfolio is accessible, ergonomic, and optimized for good SEO, while remaining true to my personality and style. This work also allowed me to develop my critical sense and refine my tastes, drawing inspiration from various achievements to create a unique and professional interface. In summary, this portfolio is the first step of an evolving professional image, designed to stand out and convince me in the world of the web.

Realisation

The design of the project started on Figma, where I created a moodboard to define the visual atmosphere and graphic style. This preparatory work allowed to guide the creation of the user interface (UI) and optimize the user experience (UX), making navigation intuitive and pleasant. Then, the development was carried out in PhpStorm, a powerful environment that facilitates the management of HTML, CSS and PHP code. For the online release, I used WordPress, which offers a flexible and easy-to-manage platform for the client, while ensuring a functional and responsive site.

Preference

I appreciated being able to customize several aspects of the project according to my preferences, whether it is the design, structure, or functionalities. This freedom allowed me to express my creativity while highlighting my technical skills. I was thus able to create a coherent project, which really reflects my vision and my personal choices.

Complexity

The main theme of the project was complexity, including managing rich and varied content while ensuring a simple and fluid interface. This challenge pushed me to find a balance between advanced features and ease of use, in order to offer a clear user experience despite the richness of the content.

Final opinion on the project

This project allowed me to confront theory with practice by combining design and development. I learned to manage complexity while staying user-centric, which strengthened my skills in UX/UI and programming. The final result is a functional, aesthetic and tailored project of which I am proud.
