Encyclopedia

This encyclopedia application allows you to easily consult reliable and varied content on a chosen theme (plants, dinosaurs, cars, etc.). The user can search for articles through a search bar with sorting and filters, or browse by categories. Each article includes text, images and additional information (author, date, sources). Users can customize the interface, save articles, view their history or share content. The interface, designed to be clear and intuitive, also offers a home page with suggestions, a settings page, and offers smooth navigation throughout the application.

Realisation

For this project, I chose the theme of music. The model was created on Figma, which allowed me to design an interactive and well-structured interface. I started by creating a moodboard to define the visual universe: dynamic colors, modern typographies and graphic elements related to music. On the UX side, I worked on a smooth and intuitive navigation: quick access to search, clear categories, and pleasant reading of articles. For the UI, I opted for a sleek design, immersive visuals and a layout adapted to all screen formats to offer an enjoyable experience to music enthusiasts.

Preference

I particularly enjoyed working on the page dedicated to Olivia Rodrigo. As an iconic contemporary artist, she allowed me to create rich content visually and musically. I took care to take care of the presentation of his albums, with texts, images and audio clips, while keeping a clear layout. This part allowed me to express my personal tastes while respecting the overall aesthetics of the application.

Complexity

The theme of the project was complexity, which I translated into the richness of musical content to be organized in a clear and accessible way. Between artists, albums, styles and eras, it was necessary to structure the information without losing the user. The challenge was to simplify navigation while keeping a depth of content. Thanks to Figma, I was able to design a readable, intuitive and pleasant interface despite the density of data.

Final opinion on the project

This project allowed me to take on the challenge of organizing a large amount of information while offering a simple and pleasant interface. Working on the design with Figma taught me a lot about the balance between content complexity and navigation fluidity. I enjoyed creating an intuitive experience that invites musical discovery while remaining user-friendly.
