The design was made on Figma, with a moodboard defining a warm and authentic atmosphere. The UX aims for simple and smooth navigation, while the UI offers a sleek and responsive design. The development was done with PhpStorm, facilitating coding in HTML, CSS and PHP. The site was then integrated into WordPress, offering the client easy content management and a reliable platform.
I appreciated being able to customize several aspects of the project according to my preferences, whether it was the choice of colors, the structure of the site, or the integrated features. This allowed me to combine creativity and technique, while remaining faithful to the identity of the Old Mill. This global work has enriched me a lot, both in terms of design and development.
The main theme of the project was complexity, in particular managing rich and varied content while offering a simple and intuitive interface. It was necessary to balance the needs of the client, the technical features and the design to ensure a fluid and pleasant experience. This challenge allowed me to develop my skills in organizing and creating functional interfaces.
This project allowed me to take on the challenge of integrating a wide variety of content while maintaining a clear and easy-to-use interface. Working on both design and development has taught me a lot about the balance between complexity and simplicity. I am satisfied with the final result, which meets the client’s expectations while offering a pleasant user experience.
